Volunteering with Dorchester Central Scout Group

Beavers Age 6-8 / Cubs Age 8-10.5 / Scouts Age 10.5–14

We work it out together!

We especially want to be known for skills for life: the things young people learn at Scouts sets them up for the rest of their lives.

Trustee

We are inviting people to step forward and support us from behind the scenes on our governance trustee board – this meets once quarterly with a few extra hours to support the group.

Join our Beavers (Monday) 5pm until 6pm – Encourage young people to find the solutions to tasks themselves or by working in a team.
Come along to our Wednesday evening Beavers  5pm until 6pm – Listen and encourage to participate – Have fun with activities
Our Monday night Cubs meet  6.30pm until 8 pm –    You look like that role model.  Join the fun and adventure.
Or how about Cubs on a Wednesday evening 6pm until 7.30pm – A very rewarding one night a week in term time!
Scouts – (Wednesday) 7.30pm until 9pm  – Make memories – Have a Plan A (and B!)

Scouts – (Thursday) 7.30pm until 9pm – One night

a week in term time – Give it a go – make new friends!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
