Since its creation in 1909, Dorset has been proud to have a number of Award Holders from our county. Below is a list of known recipients from between 1909 to 2012.

Dorset is also proud that the first 2 King Scout Awards ever presented were to members of the County.

Victor Watkins of Broadstone Scouts – Poole – April 1909 (Victor helped with the Original Set of requirements for the badge and was recognized personally by King Edward VII and Baden-Powell)

Arthur Primmer of 1st Hamworthy Scouts – Poole – November 1909 (Arthur was one of the Original Campers on Brownsea in 1907, from the Poole Boys Brigade and was recognized personally by Baden-Powell)
