Scout Active Support are volunteers that support other adults to deliver the programme. You can be an SAS Volunteer for your District and/or County.

There is one SAS unit in Dorset county, a 4×4 unit who support events needing 4-wheel drive support vehicles.

We also have members who belong to the UK Brownsea SAS unit and the UK Bushscout SAS unit.

Send any enquiries to the county office who can put you in touch with the right person.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
