What our amazing volunteers do

Date: 13th Apr 2021 Author: Jackie Dawson

Our adult volunteers wear a necker, or some call it scarf, its the colourful cloth hung around the neck, held together with … yes we still call it a woggle! Or some tie it with the friendship knot.

Who are these people? What do they do? Why do they do it?

Meet some of our amazing volunteers here.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
