Record Number of Queen Scouts in Dorset Celebrated.

Date: 6th Feb 2022 Author: County Office

In December 2021, Dorset Scouts celebrated our most recent Queens Scout Award Recipients at the Crown Hotel in Blandford.

Throughout 2020 and 2021, Dorset had more members complete the Top Award for under 25’s, then ever before. 18 young men and women completed their Award during one of our most difficult times with Covid hovering around them. But with showing pure determination and spirt, they didn’t let something like Lockdown or Restrictions stop them doing what they love.

A number of those recent recipients attended our  special evening of celebration, where they were presented their own Dorset Queens Scout Award Neckerchief in the presence of Mr Robin Clay, Lord Baden-Powell’s grandson.

With over 60 guests in total, and plenty of cake consumed, May we take this moment to share with the photos from the day, and again congratulate all our awardee’s.
