County Cooking Competition 2019

Every year the county holds a cooking competition for scouts. Two teams from each District can attend. This year seven teams entered from across the County. Each year the competition has a theme, and this year’s theme was ‘Jamborees, Past, Present and Future’. The teams had to present a menu based on this theme with 3 courses for 4 people on a budget of just £18.

The competition was at a very high standard and proved very challenging for the judges to decide. After just over 2 hours of cooking the results were some fabulous food that the judges couldn’t get enough of.

The winners of the competition were 1^st Yetminster Scout Group. Second place went to 1^st Lytchett Minster Scout Group as well as them winning best dessert. 3^rd place went to 24^th Bournemouth Scout Group.

Well done to all who took part!  Good luck to our teams who will be entering Regionals on 10th March.
