Leader training modules

2020 continues to bring a fresh approach to the delivery of the training modules.

2 full days gets you a great start and stuck into safe and fun scouting as part of the adult team. 2 more days level up your skills and understanding to deliver a quality programme. Add a day for a first aid course and you’ve covered all the learning towards your Wood beads. One extra day improves your camping skills and puts you on the right path towards a Nights Away permit.

Day 1 to 3 can be done as half-days, full days or a full weekend. Modules of learning are tackled together, or one after the other so you can rapidly get to grips with delivering scouting and see how it all works together. Day 1 and 4 includes the modules that both leaders and managers should do. Day 2, 3 and 5 are for leaders.
