Bowling Green Wood campsite

Bowling Green Wood campsite

Bowling Green Wood is a small to medium woodland site with a traditional scouting feel and indoor facilities.

The site is located in the Weld Estate next to Lulworth Castle and close to the south coast with Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door close by. Camping is on the large field with a fire circle in the middle. There are three huts, one equipped with kitchen facilities and a log burner, and another with toilet facilities. The top hut is a lounge area. Power is supplied by a petrol generator on site (although you are more than welcome to bring your own) and calor propane gas is provided for using the ovens.
Available to Scouts, Guides, DofE Groups and other youth groups. To enquire about the site and/or a booking, please complete the form below.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
