Here in Dorset we have a number of Activity Centres / Campsites across the County, please find more information below about each. For any enquiries please get in touch with the centre using the centre's contact form.

Activity Centres

There are a number of activity centres around the county, all of which are also campsites. The only one owned by Dorset Scouts is the one at Buddens. The campsite on Brownsea Island is owned and operated by the National Trust. Then there a number of centres owned by our districts. We hope you can find one to suit your adventures.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
